Registration is open to all persons interested in aspects related to dental surgery, paediatric dentistry, oral medicine, periodontics, prosthetics, orthodontics and the advancement of technology in these areas.

*Students must upload a copy of their ID in the registration form, which identifies the institute they are studying at, and must be studying full time.
** Registration does not include social functions.

**** Registration includes gown hire and one guest. If you wish to bring additional guests (not dental professionals), they will each incur a fee of A$165 and can be added on during the registration process or by emailing the Convocation Managers.

Inductee Registration

Inductees are encouraged to attend the full Convocation, in addition to their Induction Ceremony. If you wish to do so, please choose registration for convocation as a Member of the College, and you will be asked if you are an Inductee for gown hire purposes. Please note there will be an additional charge for gown hire of A$120.00 added to this registration. Also note that if you do select full Convocation, you will be required to purchase additional tickets to the Induction Ceremony for your guests at A$165.00.

Alternatively, if you just wish to attend the Opening Ceremony (and Induction Ceremony), please register as an Inductee. Inductee registration includes your gown hire and one guest. Inductee registration does not include entry to the Convocation sessions.

 RACDS Member, Honorary, Life, Retired Member, Subscribed Candidate and Non-member Registrants
The registration fee entitles all delegates to the following:

  • Social functions: Opening Ceremony, Presidents’ Reception and Gala Dinner

Student Registrants
Student Registration entitles delegates to the following:

Day Registrants
Day Registration entitles delegates to the following:

  • All sessions on the nominated day

 Registration Confirmation
Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Please note, your registration will be cancelled if your registration is not paid after three payment reminders sent by the Convocation Managers.

Name Badge
Each delegate of the Convocation will receive a name badge upon registering at the Registration Desk at the Convocation. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Convocation Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Certificate of Attendance
You will receive a Certificate of Attendance post-Convocation to the email address that you used to register for the Convocation.


 Group Registration
The Group registration is offered when a single entity registers two (2) or more individuals in one form. 
The Group registration must be paid for by the early bird registration deadline to be eligible for the the early bird registration fee. The final names of the delegates must be received by Monday 13 August 2018. Should this deadline not be met, the difference between early and standard registration fees will apply and must be paid in order to process the Group registration.

Private Touring, Private Functions, Hospitality Arrangements
Should you have any specialised group requirements for private touring, private function, transportation or hospitality services other than those organised for the official Programme, please contact the Convocation Managers who would be pleased to assist with arrangements.

It is requested that you advise the Convocation Managers of any private /corporate functions that might be planned outside of the official Programme.


 Credit Card
Please note all online registrations require payment by credit card in our secure and ‘real time’ payment system. Accepted credit cards include MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex Pty Ltd’.

Should you wish to pay at a later day, please select the invoice option. This will confirm your registration and send you a confirmation email with your invoice. Payment can be made by contacting the Convocation Managers who will send you a secure link to pay via credit card in our secure and ‘real time’ payment system’. Please note that payment for early bird registrations will need to be made prior to the early bid deadline to receive the early bird registration rate. Payments not made by this date will be changed to the standard registration and the difference will be added onto your registration.

All payments by cheque incur a $10 processing fee and will only be accepted up until Monday 6 August 2018. Cheques are to be made payable to RACDS 2018 Convocation. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. No other currency will be accepted.  Registration and accommodation bookings must be made online.

Registration Fees: 
Before Tuesday 8 May 2018 will incur an A$150.00 cancellation fee.
Before Thursday 9 August 2018 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
After Thursday 9 August 2018 there will be no refund.

Accommodation:  A minimum one night’s deposit must be paid at time of booking to guarantee the reservation. One nights deposit is non-refundable at Wednesday 5 September 2018.

Social: Payments are non-refundable at Thursday 9 August 2018.


 The Programme is correct at the time of publishing. The Convocation Organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the Programme or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Convocation timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Convocation Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

The Convocation Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Convocation for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Convocation and/or its content at their sole discretion.

The GDPR aims primarily to give protection to citizens over their personal data.  The legislation was adopted on 27 April 2016.

The Conference Managers comply with these legislations and are committed to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

Arinex will not sell your personal information to third parties.  If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us and we will promptly correct the information.  You may also withdraw your consent for use of your information by advice to us in writing.

 Why do we wish you to provide your information?

We require your information to facilitate provision of information to you regarding the Conference and to facilitate your participation in the Conference.  Information collected in respect of your proposed participation in any aspect of the Conference will be used for the purposes listed below.  You can give or withhold your consent for each or all of these uses.  Please indicate your preferences when completing your registration form but please note that we will be unable to forward any information relating to the Conference or to communicate with you regarding your registration if you select ‘no’ to point 1.

What we will do with your information?

  1. Planning and conduct of the Conference including arrangements for your participation (e.g. accommodation booking);
  2. In the Delegate List published for the Conference;
  3. May also be provided to organisers of future occurrences of this Conference;
  4. May be used to provide you with information of other relevant events in your area of interest.

Important Notes:

  • The parties who will have access to your information (subject to your preference selections on above points) are the Conference Managers, the Conference host organisation (points 1 and point 4), delegates, sponsors and exhibitors of the Conference (point 2) and any future organisers of the Conference (point 3).

The parties mentioned above will rely on your above consent indications for the purposes of compliance.

  • You may withdraw your granular consent at any time by notice in writing to the Conference Managers.
  • You are entitled to access the information held by written application to the Conference Managers.
